Dovetail fabricated the architectural millwork for Line Hotel, a hospitality project in Austin, Texas. Structure Tone was the general contractor, and Michael Hsu was the architect. The project page lists wood as the material.
What did Dovetail build at Line Hotel?
Dovetail's part of Line Hotel is architectural millwork in wood. Photographs of the finished hotel show a restaurant with a stone back wall, long wood tables and a wood ceiling. They also show a pool terrace with wood fence walls and a fireplace, a round private dining room with dark curved walls, a cafe counter in a dark room with a patterned wall, and a lounge with pink walls and a copper-clad fireplace hood. Dovetail's wood scope sits inside that mix of finishes.
