# Millwork Engineering, Fabrication, Installation

Dovetail handles engineering and drafting, fabrication, finishing and installation, with Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, Revit and AutoCAD to AWI standards.

## Engineering and Drafting

The engineering and drafting department works in Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, Revit and AutoCAD and builds to AWI standards, from a basic casework model to a complicated phantom wall.

## Fabrication

Fabrication runs under a Director of Operations, an Operations Manager, a Production Manager and two floor managers. The production timeline is set during preconstruction, and work is released in packages by area, level or room.

## Finishing

Finishing happens in house: a color-matching lab, three spray booths, a drying area and a quality control checkpoint, so finishes are approved and consistent before anything ships.

## Installation

Three logistics coordinators work with the project manager, production manager and superintendents to schedule every delivery. Two superintendents run installation on site and hold daily safety toolbox talks. All field supervisors are OSHA 30 certified and all shop managers are OSHA 10 certified.
